Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with this stunning wedding at The Lakehouse venue in Halifax, Massachusetts? This day was filled with so much love, laughter, and beautiful moments that it’s hard to put into words. The Lakehouse is such a dream wedding venue. Nestled beside a peaceful lake with sprawling lawns and a cozy, rustic charm, it’s the perfect setting for a wedding that feels both elegant and relaxed.
Katie and Rich decided to forgo a first look, and instead shared the sweetest first touch moment! They also read private vows to each other, which was so special to witness. Their wedding ceremony took place outdoors, with the lake providing the most breathtaking backdrop. Watching the couple exchange vows under a simple but beautiful arbor, surrounded by their closest friends and family, was nothing short of magical. The way the sun hit the water just as they said “I do” was like nature’s way of giving its blessing. So sweet!
After the ceremony, we snuck off for some portraits around the property. The golden-hour light filtering through the trees was absolutely dreamy. The reception was held inside The Lakehouse’s event space, with its warm wooden beams and twinkling lights. The decor was simple yet elegant, with greenery and soft florals that complemented the natural beauty of the venue. The rest of the night was filled with lots of dancing, laughter, and fun.
