In 2018, I moved from Boston to Arizona to pursue my dream of wedding photography as my own business. It was scary, but my clients always kept me going. They have always ignited a flame in me to the point where I've built up a full time career in this wonderful industry, bought a house, rescued 3 pets, and photographed my first international wedding in Bali! I have had the honor and privilege of flying around the country doing what I love most in the world and nothing makes me happier. I love how I can support my family coming since I come from humble beginnings and truly feel like I've made it from the ground up. THANK YOU for making me feel like the most blessed person ever!

Shortly after planning a vacation to Arizona, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to take engagement photos while we were there. Upon searching on social media, Emily’s page showed up. Her portfolio was incredible and it was exactly the vibe I was going for. I quickly found out that Emily is also from the Boston area, just like us, and that’s what really sealed the deal for us. What are the chances?! It felt so meant to be! I had chatted with Emily for months before our trip, and she was always very quick to get back to me when I had questions. An important request I had was having an area with lots of cacti for our photos, as that was something I really wanted to showcase. Emily is very knowledgeable about the locations she offers for shoots, and helped me pick the perfect spot for our photos...

When it came to the day of our shoot, meeting Emily in person was like meeting sunshine in human form. She is so sweet and has an effortless way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is so passionate about her work, and we felt that immediately. By the end of our session, my fiancé and I were having so much fun, we didn’t even want to leave! I have just received my photos back and I am in complete shock of how wonderful they turned out. I have struggled with feeling confident for years & was apprehensive about the end results, but Emily worked such magic. I am truly in awe. If you are in Arizona (or beyond!), Emily is your girl! We absolutely cannot wait to work with her again in the future.

Emily was the first vendor that we hired for our small intimate wedding ceremony. Her warm and natural editing style really caught my eye and her attentive, sweet and thorough communication style made manifesting our vision a breeze. It felt like I was working with a friend. We would have quick phone calls to check in throughout the planning process and I could easily text or dm her on insta. That flexibility was so nice, especially since we were planning our ceremony kind of last minute with the ever-changing covid situation. It was easy for me to trust in her skills as our photographer to capture our day, and just let her take it and run with it. All I really did was give her small photo wishes I especially wanted and then I left the rest to her. My husband and I are pretty easy going, go with the flow, simple people. Our biggest priority for the day was being present and celebrating our love. Emily's photos captures the essence of this so beautifully. I can feel the love and magic from the day. My parents asked me for her info on the day of before we even saw the photos we all loved working with her.

We traveled to Arizona for our honeymoon and ending up finding this sweetheart on Instagram through a hashtag. She was timely and so accommodating with her communicating and made us feel so natural in front of the camera. She took my vision and exceeded any expectation I had set and these pictures will forever be something we reflect back on and cherish. When I make it back to Arizona I will in a heart beat book with her again and would obviously recommend her to anyone and everyone. We cannot thank you enough for these!
