The dreamiest desert wedding day at The Paseo
As an Arizona wedding photographer, few venues compare to The Paseo in Apache Junction. Nestled against the backdrop of the Superstition Mountains, it offers a blend of desert charm and elegance that was perfect for Madalyn and Mike’s wedding day.
I was so in love with Madalyn’s bridal look. She wanted to show off all her amazing tattoos, which looked SO GOOD in her lacy, mermaid style wedding dress. After the sweetest first looks and wedding party photos, the wedding ceremony began. The ceremony took place in an intimate outdoor setting, with those gorgeous Sonoran Desert mountains in the background.
After the pair said their “I do’s”, we snuck away and explored the desert terrain for bride and groom portraits, capturing the pair’s love for each other amidst the iconic cacti and rugged landscapes of Apache Junction. As the sun began to set, the sky turned the most beautiful colors, so you have to scroll and check those portraits out! They are some of my favorites.
After portraits, we headed inside the venue to join back in with the party for the indoor wedding reception that glowed with the prettiest string lights, heat lamps, and candles. It was the perfect way to end the perfect day, as the bride and groom danced, laughed, and ate pizza with their guests. So good!! Thank you, Madalyn and Mike, for letting me capture such a special day.
