We had the privilege of having her shoot both our engagement session and our wedding. My husband and I both fell in love with Emily instantly and I can say we truly had a blast taking photos with her. Emily is not only talented, she is kind, welcoming, and most of all fun. Our final albums are above and beyond what we could have imagined. She took specific shots that I didn’t even ask for or knew I wanted, but now can’t imagine not having! It’s just a testament to how well she gets to know her clients and how dedicated she is to them. She poured so much time and love into editing our photos and you can tell in every single shot. As a plus, our wedding party and family loved her as much as we did. She kept our day running smoothly and jumped in to help with timeline changes and hair and makeup mishaps. I even had wedding guests go out of their way to tell me they had a blast meeting Emily at our wedding and thought she did a fantastic job capturing our big day. I will forever be trying to find a reason to work with Emily again!

My husband and I got married in February at Papago Golf Course. One of the best decisions we made was hiring Em! After the first 5 minutes of our engagement photoshoot, I knew that we made the right choice! Em was so easy to talk to and my husband and I both felt comfortable right away. On the wedding day, she was so flexible with a few changes in our timeline and she was such a sweet, calming presence throughout the entire day and night! Her and her second shooter, Levi, even stayed later than contracted to capture some more of our special moments! Magical! That is the word I would choose to describe the way Emily made our big day feel. First and foremost, Emily has the most amazing energy. As a bride and in general, I am quite anxious and struggle with feeling confident in photos. Emily came in with a sweet, friendly, energetic, and organized personality. She instantly made me feel happy and excited to have our wedding photos taken. I had tons of questions before I booked her and she was kind enough to let me do a phone call with her. She answered all my questions and did not make me feel pressured to choose her as our wedding photographer. She understood that this was a big decision and didn’t mind if we took some time to make a choice, but OF COURSE, we ended up picking her! My husband and I had thrown our intimate wedding together quite quickly (since he is in the military) and Emily was super amazing at helping us figure things out. She was even able to give me recommendations to different hair and makeup artists....

Emily was very responsive anytime I had questions. She helped me plan the different shots we would want for the couple photos. On the day of the wedding, Emily was organized to a T but still kept her joyous energy. She took so much stress off my shoulders. Once we began taking pictures she was always hyping me and my husband up. She had so many cute ideas to make our pictures amazing. She was not afraid of anything in order to get the ‘perfect’ shot. At one point she was laying on the ground and the next second she was crossing a creek. Her photos were able to capture the magic of Sedona that was so important to us. As a result of all her hard work, the pictures turned out AMAZING! I was blown away when she sent them to me. Every picture was perfect! She is definitely the photographer we will use again in the future and we will be referring her to all our friends and family. We loved having Emily as our wedding photographer and not once did we regret choosing her!

Prior to getting our pictures back, we were in complete and total disbelief over the beauty that is Emily’s photography. Now, that we were able to experience this magic ourselves, we feel this way even more so! If you are in the Arizona or Boston area and need pictures (or even if you don’t need because she’ll make you want pictures AKA ALEX) be sure to contact her. This is one of our favorite things we’ve done together in the past five years together! This whole experience was truly a dream- from Emily’s communication prior, Emily’s positive demeanor throughout the hike, and receiving these pictures, which we’ll forever cherish! Emily puts an obvious amount of time and effort into her pictures and this is clear. She also so graciously edited out my flyaways and Alex’s sweat on his shirt from hiking before this. We are so grateful for these pictures and the opportunity to work with Emily!
